The number of advertisers using Google’s click-to-call features on their ads has grown roughly 28% month over month over the last few months, Google has confirmed. This represents all of Google’s advertisers. Google has stated that campaigns with click-to-call features are experiencing 6-8% higher click-through rates than campaigns without.
Until actions can be completed fully on a mobile device, many users will search and look to make a call which Google’s feature makes a little easier. Mobile search queries have grown by 5% over the past two years making it more important to look to capture these searchers.
